Internal Sales Executive

Location: Bournemouth


Reporting to: Commercial Director

About the role

An Internal Sales Executive at Transparity is a vital part of the Account Management teams, providing administrative support and assistance as well as approaching prospects and customers alike to make sales and maintain excellent relationships. You will also play a part in reaching (and exceeding!) sales targets and compile sales reports for management when required.

This role is ideal for someone with some IT and sales knowledge; an intense learning experience for anyone looking to develop a career with us in IT Account Management.

Your main responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Covering external Account Management team members when they are out of the office, monitoring their email inbox as necessary as well as any other tasks that are required
  • Compiling quotes and support the proposal process, plus working to maximise sales and meet quotas in the short and long term
  • Maintaining regular contact with, key Microsoft contacts, customers and prospects by phone and email
  • Adding notes and maintaining CRM records
  • Working closely with suppliers, negotiates costs of services and products to support a healthy margin
  • Approaching potential clients through new leads, cold calls, existing relationships, promotional events or other means
  • Facilitating successful sales by collecting client information and providing order information to the company
  • Tracking every purchase made to ensure that it is completed accurately and on time
  • Studying and understanding all facets of the IT products and services being offered

About you

First and foremost, at Transparity we recruit with our cultural fit in mind. Therefore, you will need to demonstrate a strong work ethic, unwavering dedication to delivering service excellence, the ability to create and maintain exceptional working relationships, creative thinking and problem solving, and high levels of organisation. Experience in selling Microsoft Cloud solutions is preferred, as well as achieving Maths and English GCSEs to grade C.
